Patricia Alessandrini

Most of Patricia Alessandrini's works feature live electronics, often with multimedia elements. Her compositions have been performed around the world, in festivals including Agora, Archipel, Festival de la Imagen, Festival en tiempo real, Mostly Mozart, Musica Strasbourg, Sonorities, and Spor. She studied electronics at the Conservatorio G.B. Martini di Bologna and at IRCAM. She holds a diploma in composition from the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, a PhD from Princeton University, and will be awarded her second PhD from the Sonic Arts Research Centre (SARC), Queens University, Belfast in 2014. She has taught Computer Music at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese, Composition with Technology at Bangor University, and is currently Lecturer in Studio Composition at Goldsmiths.
