Ian Willcock

Ian Willcock was born in 1959 and studied with David Lumsdaine at King's College, London. In 1985 he co-founded the ensemble Collective Title with composer Howard Haigh. His pieces have been performed and broadcast throughout Europe, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands as a result of which, he has received many international prizes and scholarships. Several of his pieces are published and his work has recently started to become available on commercial recordings. Future plans include a piece for Les Percussions de Strasbourg and a concerto for pedal steel- guitar and orchestra.
