Iain Harrison

Iain Harrison first discovered his insatiable interest in contemporary music during his undergraduate degree at the University of Hull, where he decided to collaborate with a number of composers in order to understand how a work is created. Since then he has completed an MA degree and is currently studying a PhD in the performance practice of contemporary saxophone techniques at the University of Huddersfield. Iain is also a busy freelance performer, being a founder member of the Eclectis electro-acoustic quartet and appearing regularly with the Mars Saxophone Quartet, as well as other solo projects. Iain has performed all over the North of England; from stately homes to primary schools he is always willing to explore new approaches to his music.
