Giuseppe Giuliano was born in Rome, 
composition degree with Guido Turchi at S. Cecilia Conservatory and 
Dr. Phil. with Goffredo Petrassi at the Accademia di S. Cecilia Rome
 - courses and seminars with Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Morton Feldman
 - electronic music studies with Franco Evangelisti, further with Luigi Nono and Hans Peter Haller in Germany, at Freiburg Experimental Studio
 - conducting with Franco Ferrara
- other studies: piano, oriental philosophy (China - India)

Giuseppe Giuliano has worked as a pianist playing contemporary repertoire as well as free improvised jazz. He has also realized the sound projecting of important electronic compositions by K. Stockhausen, L. Nono, I. Xenakis, B. Maderna, and other contemporary composers.

His compositions have been performed and broadcast in the European Union, Russia, Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia, China, Japan

In 1987 he has founded Studio ES - Milano, for production and development of the electroacoustic music. From 1988 until 1994 he has been artistic director of the Electronic music Festival (ES), in collaboration with the City of Milano, Regione Lombardia, Teatro alla Scala his musical esthetic is addressed to the research of new sounds and new musical conceptions through various means as instrumental music, computer music, live electronics, multimedia, interactive situations with videoart and surrounding music.

His compositions have been performed by important soloists such as: Arditti string quartet, Pierre Yves Artaud, Bruno Canino, Antonio Ballista, Roger Heaton, Barrie Webb, Daniel Kientzy, Mark Pekarsky, Alexandre Ouzounoff, Enzo Porta, Nicholas Isherwood, Fernando Grillo, Manuela Galizia, Ingrid Caven, Brenda Mitchell, Mayumi Miyata, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Magnus Andersson.
