Ben Potts

Ben Nigel Potts is an artist working in the sphere between sound art and sculpture. He creates abstract minimalist sculptures which also function as laptop processed musical instruments. In his live work, Ben performs with these sculptures extending them physically and spatially by using sound as a sculptural material. This work creates one unified sculpture, part of which is visible and tactile, and part of which is heard and felt.

Ben is currently completing his PhD at the University of Huddersfield supervised by Michael Clarke and Monty Adkins.
